It provides the philosophical and institutional framework for national youth development, as well as outlines the obligations not only of the State but that of major stake holders to the development of our young people, and serve as a tool for advocating for youth involvement and participation in national development. It is expected that the National Youth Policy will assist in fostering a culture that is supportive of positive youth engagement and that it will allow for the provision of services to young people, their families and communities.
